Solo Celebrations

Solo Celebrations

When life pulls the rug from under your feet
Or makes you slip on a banana peel
Do your best for that moment to fly
Miss the ground and aim for the sky

Let yourself free from the hold of gravity
Be an astronomer on a space walk
Be the mighty eagle that soars the blue sky
Or the little hummingbird that buzzes by

Make the most of this chance you’ve got
Life doesn’t let everyone its launchpad
Celebrate this day like successes of your tact
But do it alone; failures are only a solo act
