Cold trenches stop me no more
Mountains, I seek to endure
Running up ravines, ridges, ledges
Hammering out life's blunt edges
I'll rest when I clear this maze
I'll set this sky ablaze

I'll make these snows speak
Our words writ on a rocky peak
Once for this world to see
Jump in joy and forget in glee
To judge our fate in karmic daze
I'll set this sky ablaze

They will dance to rainbows near
Unmindful of the skies unclear
It will rain then hail and snow
Till life drains off their brow
Their eyes'll stare with a ceramic glaze
I'll set this sky ablaze

We'll have these mountains to us
Love like shots of a blunderbuss
Our blood burns this cold snow
Streams unite in a gushing flow
The world which stops shall raze
We'll set this sky ablaze
